Course Title: Lean Management through Kaizen

A lean organization understands customer value and focuses its key processes to continuously increase it. The ultimate goal is to provide perfect value to the customer through a perfect value creation process that has zero waste. How do you accomplish this? Find out in our two-day active program on “Lean Management through Kaizen”.

This training program will teach participants how to change the focus of management from optimizing separate technologies, assets, and vertical departments to optimizing the flow of products and services through entire value streams that flow horizontally across technologies, assets, and departments to customers.

The purpose of this course is to develop skills for implementing Lean Management at the workplace with particular emphasis on good housekeeping (5S) and MUDA/waste elimination.


Objectives of course:

  • To learn basic principles of Lean Management.

  • To develop the ability of participants to apply Kaizen to improve their workplace through MUDA/waste elimination.

  • To apply good housekeeping (5S) to improve cleanliness, discipline and safety in the workplace

  • To select appropriate industrial engineering tools and techniques for Kaizen at the workplace

  • Principles of Lean Management

  • MUDA/ Waste management

  • Good Housekeeping through 5S

  • Kaizen and MUDA elimination

  • Other Industrial Engineering tools for process improvement at the workplace

Who should attend:

This programme is targeted at Team Leaders, Supervisors, Middle Managers and Operators.

Fee:

  • Rs 7 900 or

  • Rs 5 000 for Government employees, Para statal body employees,  Pre-university & university students, and  those not contributing  to the HRDC refund
