Prof. Robert Alan Black

Since 1960 Prof. Alan Black has worked as a Licensed Architect, Freelance Cartoonist and Writer, College Professor, Television News Editor/Writer, Graphic Artist, Signage Designer, Interior Designer and Speaker/Consultant.

Since 1979 he has worked with a mixture of business, industrial, government, and association clients plus he has served on the faculties of several annual executive development programs. Since 1976, he has given over 2,400 presentations and workshops for individuals or groups and audiences on 6 continents: North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. His passionate focus is on helping people become more creative and to become stronger leaders, effective communicators, positive team members and leaders, from the factory floor to the executive suite.

Prof. Black has also written numerous books and articles on creative thinking techniques. Members of NPCC’s Productivity Implementation Committee on Innovation as well as CATSs members were exposed to these techniques during his workshop in Mauritius in September 2001.
