Our Vision

Better Living for the Nation

"Productivity and competitiveness per se are means to an end being that every Mauritian should be better off tomorrow than today. Better living results from a combination of productivity and social justice - productivity increase without social justice implies better living only for a few at the expense of the many; social redistribution without productivity leads to everybody being eventually worse off!"Source: "Laying the foundations for a Competitive Future" NPCC Agenda.

Our Mission

Make Mauritius work. Together

Since the development of a productivity culture remains at the core of our objectives at the National Productivity and Competitiveness Council (NPCC), we have defined the mission to Make Mauritius Work. Together, to reach a common set of objectives:

Share a common vision
Get the commitment of one and all to achieve that vision
Mobilization of resources at all levels
Leveraging of an element of trust that will pool on the network of relationships among persons, firms and institutions to cooperate which will enable our society to function effectiveley. In short, that means strengthening the social capital.

The NPCC will be conducting two day training on 20 th and 29 th January respectively to train secondary school teachers as facilitators for the Green School Project (GSP)...
